Did you know that seven seniors competed in the area contest for the national organization, the Office Education Association, on February 7 and came in either first or second place?
Students who received awards are Paulette Broeker, first place in keypunch; Jeff Gunchick, second in data processing; Terry Hanley, first place in Steno I; Laura Mrowiec, first place in both Steno II and Typing II.
Others include Rita Riegraf, first in Accounting II; Cyndie Suchomel, first place in Business Communications II; and Chris Wolski, second place Steno II. Those who placed first place are now eligible for the state competition which is taking place this weekend in Springfield.

Did you know that Jeff Spain '74 is a new library artist? Library patrons have probably seen his work on the bulletin boards of the Peanuts gang and places to visit on the "mod" Christmas tree last December. Jeff is a member of the audiovisual aides.
Did you know that the Maine West Invitational Chess Tournament was held February 16 and the winners were Ray Hermanson '75, first; a tie for second between Mike Brady '75 and Joe Lawlor '75; Mike Mennella '75, third; and Steve Huntoon '75, fourth.
