Have you seen a good western lately?
The Senior Class will present The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch May 4 and 5 at 8 p.m. in the Maine West auditorium. The play will be directed by Mr. Daryl Schultz and Pam Mosinski '73, as student director. It is a farcical tragedy in three acts written by James L. Rosenburg, set in the western town of Gopher Gulch.
The listing of cast members was posted on March 19 with David Franks '74 taking the title role of Sneaky Fitch. Other characters will be portrayed by the following students: the singer ‑ Matt O'Grady '73; Rackham ‑ Bob Repta '73; Mervyn Vale ‑ Stephen Schaefle '75.

Other characters include Mrs. Vale ‑ Patti Interante '73; Maroon ‑ Celeste Andrews '73; Sheriff Jack Oglesby ‑ James Hajost '73; Doe Burch ‑ Bob Konopacz '73; Reverend Stanley Blackwood ‑ Dale Leigh '73; and Mrs. Blackwood ‑ Jo Zalabak '76. The parts of Joe Carter, Bill Jackson, Bob Wilson, and the cowboys and townspeople will be announced at a later date.
The play concerns the town coward and his supposed death. When he reappears on the scene, he ironically becomes the town hero. The play revolves around this, his boredom because of this plight, and his inadvertent acts of heroism.
