Spring sports will be starting soon in girls athletics with the outcome of their winter sports looking very good.
On March 14 the girls badminton team won the south division against Niles North. Niles North had been undefeated up to then. The score was 5 to 2. The league meet is tomorrow at New Trier West. The girls have a good chance of winning the Central Suburban League badminton title even though two of their best girls, Kim Tuttle '74, the singles number one player, and Karen Neetz '74, second doubles, will be unable to play.
