Wandering Warrior

Do you think Brotherhood Society should function as an honorary society or as an active club and why?

Laurie Lorenz '73 ‑ The Brotherhood Society should function as an active club to sponsor more activities for the kids in our school.

Rosemary DePasquale '73 ‑ I think that Brotherhood Society should act as an active club so that hopefully the members will participate more and show friendship to their fellow students.

Paul Thimm '73 and Joe Kosac '73 ‑ Have them as an honorary society, but not as a club. But, they should be recognized in participation of school activities.

Janette Henry '74 ‑ I have no idea what it is, but I think it should remain active.

Dawn Roel '73 ‑ I feel Brotherhood Society's basic foundation is of an honorary origin. However, the function of this society should be active in terms of a service club for our school and community, therefore, giving significance of its existence.

Jeanne Kennedy '74 ‑ I think Brotherhood Society by its nature will always be an honorary society. Brotherhood has a lot of potential and could be made a very active club. More assemblies could make the club more active in students participation.

Mark Drysch '73 ‑ I feel Brotherhood should function as an active society. There are many activities which Brotherhood could sponsor, not only in the school but also in the community, if the members are willing to devote some time and effort.

Bonnie Cassidy '73 ‑ Brotherhood should not function at all. True brotherhood in man can never be measured nor should it.

Debbie Henkes '74 ‑ Electing candidates for the Brotherhood Society is a waste of time because it is simply a selection of the most popular students. If members who are elected are selected solely by how well they promote school spirit, a lot of different people would be in office.

Lori Rowells '73 ‑ I'm a Brotherhood member, and the only thing I get from this is the whole idea of it being an honor. Brotherhood Society would probably be more effective if it was an active club, because now we don't do that much so it seems to be a farce.

Mary Hoffman '75 ‑ Honorary society because the people who are in it are selected by their classmates as special people.

Gayle Haman '73 ‑ Brotherhood Society is so phoney it has turned out to be just a popularity club. I don't think it should be formed at all.

Kathy Sahs '73 ‑ Brotherhood Society is geared toward the socially popular students. It does not evaluate the students on the basis of their brotherhood qualities. I don't think the society should exist at all in this basis.

Mike Fulle '73 ‑ I don't feel you need to have a club to have brotherhood.

Ken Funk '73 ‑ The whole idea of a Brotherhood Society is a farce because starting a closed club for the popular student is completely contradictory to the whole idea.

Paul Burchard '74 ‑ It's hideous, and it's only worth the period we get out of school for the assembly. But don't blame the kids who were elected on it because you elected them.
