The girls' badminton team is in a tie for the badminton league championship. At first, the title was given to Maine West; but when the records were rechecked Maine West, Niles North, and Maine East all ended up in first place.

The archery, track, and softball teams are practicing hard after school. All girls are invited to attend a Softball Sports Day being held on May 5. Maine West will also sponsor a track meet on May 3 and encourages all girls to attend. There will be an archery meet on May 4.

GRA held its annual elections for next year's GRA board on April 18 and 19 during all lunch periods. Any girl presenting an ID card could vote. Next year's officers are Debbie Maday '74, president; Monica Polacek '74, vice‑president; Robin Scheffel '75, secretary; and Karen Batey '75, treasurer.
