Mr. Rider was a dedicated, enthusiastic man who put Maine West, its curriculum, activities, staff, and students at the top of the list. Never did one see an angry look from him ‑ always his twinkling eyes and friendly smile with an outgoing "Hi, how are you?" whenever he met you in the halls. Maine West will miss Mr. Rider whose qualities should be a fine example to all.
