ATTENTION V-SIIOW CAST MEMBERS

All V‑Show cast members must remember to check their rehearsal schedules daily. If you have one unexcused absence, there is a possibility that you may be dropped.

ACT DEADLINE

Monday, October 2, was the seniors' deadline date for turning in A.C.T. Test money. Tests will be held on Saturday, October 21.

NO SCHOOL!

In case you haven't heard, there will be no school on Monday, October 9, so Columbus Day can be celebrated.

LEGEND PICTURES

This week was the last week for Legend club pictures to be taken. Orders for this year's Legend will be taken during all lunch periods the week of October 24 through November 3. ALL IS NOT LOST

Don't be disappointed if you missed buying the Westerner during lunch. Westerners can be purchased before or after school as well as eighth and ninth periods in R‑210.

HAVE YOU GOT THAT SPIRIT?

That this year's spirit has improved greatly was evident during last Friday's first period pep assembly. The juniors won the spirit jug but everyone deserved it. Show school spirit again at the pep assembly which will be held during Homecoming Week. Mr. Ray Eliot, the assistant athletic director of the University of Illinois, will be the guest.

POM‑PON SQUAD SHOWS A LITTLE "PEP"

We have to give the Pom‑Pon Squad credit. They put forth a little "spirit" last summer and made $200 washing cars. The money was used to purchase new uniforms.

COACHES GET THEIRS

Today has been proclaimed by President Richard Nixon as National Coaches Day. This is the first time in our history that a day has been set aside for nation‑wide recognition of coaches.
