CONCERTS
Concerts coming to the Auditorium include: War, Osisibisa, The Last Poets on October 6, David Bowie on October 7, Cat Stevens on October 15‑17, Lettermen on October 20, America on October 23‑24 and An Evening with Groucho Marx on October 31.
Arie Crown Theater includes: Al Green on October 5‑6, Ten Years After on October 7, Ramsey Lewis and Wooten Ensemble on October 8, Guess Who on October 13, Englebert Humperdinck on October 27‑28, and Mason Profit will be at the Aragon on October 20.
Papa Jo's, located at 702 Touhy in Park Ridge, is featuring the Ohio Express on October 6, Pez Band (who recently toured with Billy Preston) on October 7, Weapons of Peace on October 13, and Rufus on October 14.

MOVIES
"Portnoy's Complaint" is currently being shown at the Randhurst Cinema and at the Woodfield II Theater. Woodfield Theater I is showing Alfred Hitchcock's "Frenzy" and the Des Plaines Theater is featuring "Cabaret" and "Desperate Characters."
PLAYS
The Arlington Park Theater in Arlington Heights is staging Louis Nye in his classic performance as "Charley's Aunt" now through October 29 and "Godspell" is being presented at the Studebaker Theater in Chicago.
Liberace is at the Mill Run Playhouse through October 15. Caesar Romero is extended in "Mr. Berry's Etchings" at the Drury Lane Theater in Evergreen Park until November 12, and the Des Plaines Bible Church is offering the musical production of "Take Five" at 7:30 p.m. on October 7.
PARK DISTRICT ACTIVITIES
Classes in yoga and arts and crafts are now available. Yoga, a method toward inner peace through a system of self discipline of mental and physical abilities, is currently in its first session with classes being held at Central School on Thursdays from 7‑8:30 p.m.
