Kim Tuttle '74, Monica Polacek '74, Karen Neetz '74, Kathy Zyrkowski '73, Maureen Brock '75, and Barb Schwarz '74 will represent Maine West at the state tennis meet today and tomorrow at Arlington High School.

District tennis finals were held at Addison Trails High School last Saturday. Each girl had to play one match in which she had to play six games. The winners of the first match then had to compete with other girls in a second match. The top four singles and doubles then go to state finals at Arlington.

The last tennis meet was held last Tuesday at Maine South.

The girls' golf team was also victorious over Maine North on Tuesday, October 12. Jean Anderson '73 and Chris Tostrund '75 were victorious, and Pam Nehring '73 tied which made the score 2‑0.

On Tuesday, October 17, the golf team played Maine North again.

In swimming, the girls have won two and lost one. Mrs. Terry Milam, coach of the swimming team, expects the girls to win the next meet and to tie the meet after that. The girls won their meet against Niles West on Tuesday, October 10, by a score of 70 to 42.
