M-Club To Battle Faculty
In Basketball Game

The M‑Club will meet the faculty in their annual basketball game, Tuesday, November 28, at 7:30 p.m. The spectator gym will be the battlegrounds for the fourteenth time this event has taken place.

The victory of two years ago by the M-Club was the first in the history of the game. However, the faculty regained their standing by defeating the M-Club by a wide margin in last year's game.

A half‑time show is being planned and will probably include the famous pom‑pon and cheerleader boys as done in past years. "The faculty team may not have any cheerleaders," said Mr. David Pitzele, faculty team coach for the second year in a row, adding, "We don't really need them. We will win no matter what."

He then stated, "The faculty is considering playing from their knees while wearing blind folds instead of from their feet, in order to give the M‑Club a chance."

One M‑Club member retaliated by saying, "Those fat old men don't have a chance against a spirited and talented M‑Club team."

Specific members of the M-Club team have not been yet chosen. However, M‑Club has disclosed that all their team players will be those members of M‑Club who are not out for any winter sports.

The members of the faculty team include: Mr. Eldon Burk, Mr. Les Jannusch, Mr. Don Talbot, Mr. Bob Riek, Mr. Elwood Hughes, Mr. Vic Giovannini, Mr. Brent Michaels, Mr. Robert Goerne, Mr. Phil Kardasz, Mr. James Morel, and Mr. Charles McCarter.

Other members include Mr. Frank Spinna, Mr. Ray Matkovic, and Mr. Bruce Erickson. More key members of the faculty team have yet to be chosen.
