Spirit Of a Rah‑Rah

By TERRY WEISZMANN

Rah‑rahs are found everywhere;
Victory is what they say.
You really don't know why they care,
But they think it's the Maine Way.

|They yell and scream at every game;
They cry when we don't win.
Low school spirit is a shame;
It's really a mortal sin!

Pep assemblies are really fun;
The victory bell is there.
The spirit jug is always won
By the juniors (it's only fair).

Are rah‑rahs really all that bad?
Is school spirit ancient history?
Well, we should feel very glad
That we can yell victory.
