Colors Convey Traits Of Inner
Personalities

By JANE TOMEK

Does earthy Burgundy melt your soul? Do you have a mad passion for wild yellow or dream about mossy green? If so, don't push your craving aside, thinking it's merely an idiosyncrasy. Your favorite color is a special and meaningful personality trait signifying your inner self.

It's fun and helpful to know what characteristic each color represents. Not only will you learn more about yourself, but also about the people around you. Watch what color your favorite person wears most often to understand his hidden personality.

Written according to the standards of leading color translation authority, Dr. Max Luscher, the following color evaluations should help you to understand what certain colors represent.

One liking "gray" is known as a neutral person. He is uncommitted, remains uninvolved, and is secretive.

One adoring "blue" is serene and sensitive. He is content with life and has a personality of depth and fullness. (This color is favored by the overweight.)

One favoring "green" is stable and extremely proud. He exercises great self control.

One raving over "red" is impulsive. He represents a powerful force and desires achievement.

One fancying "yellow" is cheerful and relaxed. He radiates warmth and joy.

One relishing "violet" has a magical outlook on life. He exists in a dream world awaiting complete fulfillment.

One who is fond of "brown" is passive and receptive. He keeps his 'boundaries near home.

One preferring "black" is extreme in his actions. He has a surrendering attitude toward life.

Now that you have a slight idea of what some colors mean, if you would like to know the traits of that interesting person wandering around wearing the fuchsia and chartreuse plaid outfit, maybe it would be best to ask Dr. Luseher himself.
