Key Club has been trading books and magazines between other Key Clubs in Illinois. The club is hopefully planning to go Christmas caroling, but nothing is definite as of now.


On Thursday, December 7, G.R.A. is sponsoring a MotherDaughter Playnight. It will be held in C‑wing gym from 6:45 to 9 o'clock. Refreshments will be served and progressive games have been planned.


WMTH will be broadcasting its annual Christmas show from Maine West. Check the WMTH bulletin board outside the cafeteria for the accurate day and time.

Daily from 4 to 5 p.m. WMTH broadcasts its musical show Twin‑H. The station is located at 88.5, FM.

Sometime before Christmas the varsity Debate Team is planning to go to Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. The team consists of Brock Akers '74, Steve Kisslinger '74, and Yvonne Monreal '75.

Commenting about the team, Brock Akers said, "The outlook is good for the coming year. We have a lot of talent this year and hope to bring home some glory for Maine West."


The Home Economics held a club meeting in C‑105 on Thursday, November 30, at 7:45. Christmas plans were discussed.
