CONCERTS AND MUSICAL HAPPENINGS

Tonight Jim Croce will be appearing at Harper College in the College Center Lounge at 8 p.m. Included in Jim's hits are "Operator" and "You Don't Mess Around With Jim." Tickets are available at the door.

Santana will be in Chicago for a concert at the Amphitheater on February 16. On the same date Buddy Miles will be appearing at the Aragon.


MOVIES

"Pete and Tillie" at the Golf Mill I, along with "Fiddler on the Roof" at the Golf Mill II, will be held over this weekend. The Des Plaines Theater will be showing "The Mechanic" and "Hannie Coulder." The Woodfield I will be showing "The Great Waltz" and Woodfield II will have "1776." The Randhurst Cinema will show "The World's Greatest Athlete." The Pickwick will be showing "Silent Running" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie."

THEATRE

"Solitaire" and "Chamber Music" will be presented by the Thespian Society in the auditorium tonight and tomorrow night at 8 p.m.

The musical, Godspell, continues at the Studebaker Theatre through February 18. Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope begins its eighteenth week at the Happy Medium. No, No, Nanette continues at the Shubert. Fiddler on the Roof will start its eighteenth week at the Candlelight Dinner Playhouse.


UPCOMING ACTIVITIES AND INFORMATION

Now is a good time to purchase tickets for the Kemper Tennis Tournament which begins at Lake Forest on February 26.

Some park district classes will now begin their second session.

Alice Cooper will be coming to the Amphitheatre April 9. Tickets are now on sale.
