The intramural basketball tournament for the freshmen has begun with Coach Jim Morel's third period class in first place with a two win and no loss record. Coach Erv Geisler's second and fifth period classes are in second and third place, respectively. Playoffs for the championship began yesterday.

Individual events coming up this month are the wrestling and free throw shooting contests. Weightlifting and the table tennis tournament will be coming up in early March.

Winners of the individual and team events will receive patches from the director of intra murals, Coach Miley Hotchkiss. At the end of the year, two boys from each class will receive trophies based on points earned for the greatest amount of participation in intramurals.
