Maine West Mourns
Deep sympathy is extended to the family and friends of David Carlson, Mary Halachoulis, and Michael Mandelky. All three students, who would have been seniors this year, died during the summer.
Mary died after a long illness on June 3. She was very active in Class Council, Orchesis, and International Club. David was a member of the cross country team and was involved with church youth activities.
He had an apparent heart attack while swimming and drowned August 31. Mike took an interest in sports. On July 28 he drowned in a swimming accident.
