Movie Industry Awards 'Ostriches'
to Worst Films

As the Academy Award season approaches, the movie industry gives Oscars to the best movies, actors, actresses, etc. The Ostriches are given to the worst in these categories. Here are the winners of Ostriches.

The Worst Actress of the Year Award went to Queen Elizabeth for her performance in "Ruba‑Dub‑Dub, Two in a Tub", costarring Edward Heath. The Worst Actor of the Year Award went to Henry Kissinger for portraying an international playboy in "I Left My Heart in Cairo, Los Angeles, Tel Aviv, Saigon, and the Greater Parts of Miami."

The Award for the worst Acting Duet of the Year went to Martha and John Mitchell for their escapades in "Touch Me in the Morning or Call Me in the Afternoon."
The award for the Worst Humorous Picture of the Year went to a lengthy version of a session of Congress called "1001 Clowns." The Worst Musical of the Year Award went to the movie "Killing Me Softly," starring John Dean and Richard Nixon.

The award for the Worst Science Fiction Movie of the Year went to "Gas for All," starring Billy Simon. In the dirty movie category, Fritz the Cat and Linda Lovelace won Ostriches for their romp in "The Cat's Meow."

The movie industry gave other awards to lighting technician, directors, producers, and others who helped to make the movies. The evening at the Ostriches did go well, but the most excitement occurred after the awards had ended during a parking‑lot poker game
