The girls' basektball team played Deerfield at home March 7. The girls defeated them 57-18 in the varsity game and 26-19 in the junior varsity. The girls who gained the most points are Maureen Brock '75 with 10 and Kim Tuttle '74 with 25 points for the varsity game and Jan Heyse '75 with 10 points for the junior varsity.
For the Maine South game they slowed a bit. They played March 7 at Maine South and lost 64-63 in the varsity game and 23-12 in the junior varsity. The girls who gained points are Carol Jensen '74 with seven, Maureen Brock with eight, Karen Neetz '74 with 10, and Kim Tuttle with 34 points. Kim Tuttle had 15 rebounds and Carol Jensen had 12.
The next home game is Tuesday, March 26, against Niles East, at 4:30. The League Playoffs will be at Maine East at 4:30 Friday and Saturday, March 29‑30.
