Do You Need A Vacation?
By STAN LATA

Now that the third quarter is over, a much needed spring vacation will help many people out of their slump. Here is how you can tell if you need a vacation from school and whether or not the vacation has lasted too long.

You know you need a vacation if . . . . You like the smells coming out of cooking class. You take a strong liking to your teachers. You are getting F's in all your classes and care. You wish the quarter had never ended.
You want a study hall instead of early dismissal. You want more tests. You lock yourself in your washroom at home to smoke. You like the food in the cafeteria.

You know you've had too long of a vacation if . . . You get the runs in Mexico and accept it as a way of life. You're in Florida and hope the sun doesn't shine. You're on the airplane coming home and make mish‑mosh with the food to remind you of the cafeteria's food.

A person next to you throws-up on you, and you ask him if he feels better. You look forward to coming back to school.
