Sophomore Class Chooses 13 Girls
The Sophomore Class has chosen 13 girls to represent the months of the 1974-1975 school year calendar. The cover girl chosen from the Sophomore Class with the most votes was Sandy Schellenberger.
The other girls were Jill Bober, Cindy Nolan, Lou Pontarelli, Diane Peterson, Julie Clause, Dawn Peterson, Darlene Koontz, Caron Bolman, Denise Madej, Pat Heiden, and Liz Makuch.
The Student Council sponsored event allows the girls to choose whatever attire and scene they feel will best represent the month they are featuring.
The nominations were held in the homeroom. Each room chose a girl from the homeroom and one girl from the class at random. From these 33 girls, 26 finalists were chosen. During a sophomore assembly each girl was introduced to the class. The students then voted for the two girls of their choice. The 13 girls who received the most votes were chosen as calendar girls.
The girls met and chose what month they wanted to represent, and what they would wear, and in what pose they would be for their pictures.
The student calendars will be published and put on sale in the fall. The proceeds will go to Student Council.
