Friendship Festival Concerns People
Nearly everything we experience has been sparked by an idea, a dream that someone has had. All too often many dreams never get off the ground because the dreamer lacks the funds or support for his idea.

Some time ago several industrial leaders had an idea that it would be nice to show the people of their town that there's more to it than McDonalds and a 60 cent show, but they weren't sure how the people would react.

This Wednesday and Thursday they'll have a chance to find out when the public attends the Des Plaines Friendship Festival.
Much has already been written about the event and to repeat it is unnecessary except to say that the festival should prove an interesting experience.

The only way in which these people can be rewarded for their time, efforts, and money (it is strictly nonprofit) is by good attendance. The Friendship Festival has been designed for the people of Des Plaines with, them in mind. It would be a shame if all the months of hard work were for nothing. They're not doing this to satisfy themselves; they're doing it for us. Let's show them that we appreciate it.
