Peace, Love and War
By NANCY LARSEN

Today I was walking down the street,
And I saw two people there.
Just standing saying nothing,
Just standing in a stare.

They started talking about love, war and peace together
"If love were here just think," one said,
"There would be no hate for one another."
"If peace were here," said the other,
"The world would be just great.'

Then they stopped and said together:
"If there were no war, men would not die,"
"And we could all live together.'

I learned something on my walk today,
Something I'll never forget,
That peace and love are all we need,
And for sure something we can get.
