The theme of this year's Junior Prom is "Once Upon a Dream." It will be held on Saturday, May 25, 1974, in the Maine West auditorium from from 8:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.
The group playing will be Ralph Berger and his piano and orchestra. At least one person from each couple must be a junior. Boys should wear either a tuxedo or a dark suit. The girls should wear formals.
The cost is $3 per couple. Tickets went on sale Monday, May 13, and will continue to be on sale until next Friday, May 24. Tickets can be purchased in the cafeteria during all lunch periods and in the bookstore the other periods of the day.
Any junior interested in helping decorate the auditorium for the prom should come to the auditorium after school on Friday, May 24, and on the morning of Saturday, May 25. All help will be welcome.
At the prom the U and U Society will be helping with collecting tickets and passing out the bids.
The teachers responsible for arranging and helping with the prom are Ms. Stephanie Hays and Mr. Richard Frey, who are also the Junior Class sponsors. Carol Kent is chairman. Heads of the different committees for the prom include: Claudia Roncone, publicity; Audrey Nyberg, tickets; Corrine Bergquist, decorations; Kathy Dueball and Jeannie Blumer, bids.
