1974 Senior Class Approaches
'Anticipation'
It's that time of the year again when everyone is awaiting news of the proms. This year's Senior Prom has been in the planning stage for a long time and is finally near completion.

The theme of this year's prom is "Anticipation." It will be held at the Michigan Shores Club on June 8 from 8:30 to 11:30 in the evening. Attire for the evening is formal. Light refreshments will be served and decorations will be provided by the club. The tickets are priced at $3 per couple and will be on sale in the bookstore. There will be an announcement telling when the tickets will go on sale.
Entertainment will be provided by the Ron Phelps Orchestra. A rock group by the name of "Copper Head" will be the backup group for the night. Arthur David Greenburgh will be taking photos during the night. Students will be able to purchase the pictures they want later.

The Senior Class officers have been working for about a year so that this prom could be a success. The officers are Karen McGavin, Jeanne Wolf, Patti Wagner, and Marilyn Armbruster. The sponsors for the prom are Ms. Ruth Nickelson and Mr. Edwin Atkinson. Ms. Nickelson was quoted as saying, "I wish every senior would attend because it is the last time they will be together as a class except for commencement."
