Students Have Time To Choose Classes
By KATHY O'SHEA
The question has arisen among students why if a class is dropped it is dropped with an F.
While talking to Mr. Wayne Rosenquist, chairman of the Guidance Department, he said that students have a lot of time to pick their classes and this is a decision that they have made by themselves. Once a decision is made they should learn to stick to it.
In life people can not always change their decision. This is one way of preparing a student for the rest of his life.
If a student wishes to drop a class for some reason, this is to be done before the first three weeks of that semester; but there are certain circumstances where a class has to be dropped and an "NG", no grade, will be issued at the discretion of the principal.
Do not get the idea by this article that dropping a class is good, because sticking to the first decision shows maturity.
