Golfers Compile Record Of 8‑7
The Maine West stickmen are presently enjoying an over .500 winning percentage. The team has had pretty much of a give and take season. They have been involved in 15 matches and have dropped seven of them. While not an earth‑shaking record, it is a respectable one.
The Warriors are 2-2 in their last four matches. On April 29 they dropped a double match, scoring 159 to the opponents' 169 and 174.

On May 1 the team began a two‑game winning streak, defeating New Trier West 161 to 160 in a squeaker. The next day in action against Maine South the team triumphed again by a close score. The final score of this meet was 165‑163.
The stickmen's last meet was on May 6 and was not the best of the season for our side. They lost by 13 strokes to Maine North.
