Unlike most other sports, the track team does not have any one individual who stood out among his teammates. The track team had such a collection of outstanding tracksters that Coach Brown was hard pressed to single any player out. To be fair to the impressive array of talent on the track team, pictured are all eight seniors who contributed to the track team's overwhelming victory in districts and their fifteenth place finish downstate.

The seniors honored are Bill Klippert, high and low hurdle and the mile relay team (was a second place finisher downstate); Mark Siska, 100‑yard dash, 880 relay, and 440 relay teams; Dave Braun, long jump and triple jump (broke his own Maine West record in state competition); Jeff Keister, shot put and discus; Rich Pawelko, half mile and the mile relay; Kevin Skahan, 440 relay, 440, mile relay, and the 220; Greg Klebe, 880 and. mile relay; Steve Jacobsen, mile relay, 880 relay, and 440 relay.
