New Fashion Show
On Tuesday, October 11, 1973, Maine West experienced "the best fashion show yet," commented Mrs. Lucillie Stiles, head of the Home Economics Department. The fashion show entitled "Double-Take Wardrobes" was presented by Simplicity in L-101 and is an annual event.
An open invitation was made to all students and faculty members with a free third period. About 190 people attended.

The models in the fashion show were selected from the various clothing classes. This fashion show also included two male models: Carl Metzger '74 and Ron Houston '75.
The outfits modeled were supplied by Simplicity and ranged from casual to formal wear. The styles were young and new and those that students are "seeing, making, and wearing," added Mrs. Stiles.
