Musicians To Participate
In Music Festival
Schools in the northern Cook and Lake Counties will participate in the IMEA (Illinois Music Education Association) District VII music festival. It will be held tomorrow from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Deerfield High School.

The IMEA festival is a gathering of some of the finest musicians from high schools in northeastern Illinois. The purpose of this festival is to choose different students to form an outstanding orchestra, band, and chorus.

All types of music will be played, but the program will consist mostly of the classical type. People wishing to attend the festival will pay an admission price of $1.50 at the door of Deerfield High School.

Auditions for the District VII festival and the state festival were held at the same time. Choir auditions were held in Elgin; the band's were held here. Auditions for the orchestra were held in Elmwood Park.
