VOL. XV, NO. 5
Babe Ruth - "First Base" is the name of the new and first album by the new group Babe Ruth.
They do such things as Frank Zappa's "King Kong" and a great arrangement called "Wells Fargo."
If you prefer a Latin twist, mixed in with a powerful female lead vocalist, plus a hard bass guitar at times, this is the album you've been waiting for.
Fleetwood Mac - Their new album is called "Mystery to Me" which features a lot of nice things. If you like classical guitars, this album has them. Maybe you like a lot of lyrics, this album has them. And if you're strange, you might like the crazy album cover.
Solo - A new group presents their brand new album. This album contains intoxicating lead guitars, bass guitars, drums, cymbals, organs, pianos, vocals, etc.
If you don't believe any of the above statements, well then jut bring your "bod" to the Maine West gymnasium on January 26 and see Solo, featuring Ken Little, perform.
Uriah Heep - It's a dynamic group, when will they ever stop recording such magnificent talent! This talent, which most Uriah Heep fans are aware of, is again evident on their latest album, "Sweet Freedom." This album, no doubt, will be the Heep's third gold record.
If you haven't heard the group before, pick up a copy of this album, and you won't want to turn it off.
Albert Brooks - He's a comedian who has many original ideas. These ideas can be introduced to you on his new live album entitled "Comedy Minus One." This piece of material contains many interesting things.
It has a section that you can take part in, which is the title track. Some of the other creative ideas are the rewriting of the national anthem, memoirs of an opening act, and a special stereo demonstration. By the way if you ever bump into Albert, tell him he's royal.
