Concert Comes To MW Gym
The Brotherhood Society will present Solo from 8 until 11 p.m. on Saturday, January 26. The group has six members, all of which are local people. Ken Little, the vocal talent of: the group, also serves as leader. The other group members include Gordy Johnson, the drummer; and his brother Oak Schultz, the organist; Danny Martin, on bass; Frank Mustan, lead guitarist; and Ron Ramelli, key boards.

The group stayed around Chicago, eventually playing on the same bill as "Blood, Sweat, and Tears" and Alice Cooper at the Electric Theatre. Recently they have made appearances at Papa Jo's and at a charity concert in Highland Park.

Solo also has put out their first album also entitled "Solo." Released about three months ago, it contains a mixture of hard rock sound plus blues.
Recently returning from Hollywood, Solo has portrayed the part of a rock and roll band n the movie version of the book Everyday and More Often.

Ken Little has been commissioned to write the entire musical score for the film, and Solo does most of the recording. A movie sound track album is to be offered. There will be dancing and concessions available.

Anyone in the community is invited to attend. Proceeds will go to the Brotherhood Society fund which is used to bring speakers to Maine West at various times throughout the school year.

Tickets for the concert‑dance will be $2 per person if bought at the door and $1.50 if bought beforehand. They are available at the bookstore and from any Brotherhood member.
