January Graduates Soon
Will Leave MW Halls
For many 1974 seniors the long awaited arrival of graduation has finally arrived. These are the students who chose to graduate in January. Any student who has completed the necessary requirements had the opportunity to graduate early.

On Thursday, January 31, at 8 p.m. the graduation ceremony will take place in Maine West's auditorium. The boys will be attired in blue caps and gowns, and the girls attired in white. The ceremony takes approximately an hour, which includes speeches by Dr. Richard Short, superintendent, and Maine West's principal, Mr. James Coburn.

All of the January graduates had the option of when to receive their diplomas. The first option was to participate in the January ceremony and to receive their diplomas at this time. The second option was not to participate in the January ceremony but to receive their diplomas in January.
