Volleyball Girls Continue Streak
The Maine West girls' volleyball A-team is still undefeated during their 1973-74 season. Their most recent win was against Niles East on January 10 by the scores of 15-7 and 15-4.

Another recent victory was against the Barrington squad on December 19. The A-team scored 15-4, 11-5, and 15-0 to emerge the winner in that battle. Commenting on her team was the varsity coach, Miss Royleen Tipton, "The team is using extraordinarily strong advanced offensive form that no other team is using; and at the rate we are going, the team may be undefeated at the end of the season."
A few of the upcoming matches are on January 17 and 26. The contests are for the championship of the south division of the Central Suburban League when the playoffs will take place on the seventeenth and a league meet on the twenty-sixth. There the girls will try Ito keep their winning ways.
