Weather Station Makes Report

The weather station, located at Maine West under the supervision of Mr. Joe Jobst, has completed its records for the year 1973.
Coffee Break

Maine West principal, Mr. James Coburn, has extended an invitation to many parents during the past weeks to come and talk with him at small, informal sessions. The plan is called, "Come join me for a second cup of coffee."

Each week invitations are sent at random to about 15 parents to meet with Mr. Coburn on Friday mornings from 8 to 9. If a person does not receive an invitation and would like to take part in the plan, he or she may call Mr. Coburn's office to join the meetings.

Leaders Help Indian Center

Three weeks before Christmas vacation, the Junior and Senior Leaders sponsored a Christmas project for the American Indian Center in Chicago. The girls brought in used toys and canned food, which were taken to the center. The girls received hundreds of dollars worth of items to take to the center.
