Tankmen Dunk Some
With the swimming season almost over, the varsity tankmen are treading water with a 5-6 record.

The team, being coached by Mr. Darrel Green, is doing about as well as expected. On January 25 the Warriors proved to be far too much competition for the Niles East Trojans and merrily splashed their way to a no-contest 115-41 victory. Then on February 2 our side played the Maine South Hawks on the Hawk's home pool and lost. The net result of the day's antics was a crushing 125-41 defeat, hardly a contest at all.
Mr. Green is also coaching the sophomore squad and is doing a fine job of it, too. They are within one victory of their brightest pre-season prediction of 9-3. But to reach that goal, they have to meet and upset Niles North, one of the best teams in the area, today.

As a team, Mr. James Borowski's freshmen are pulling no surprises. But that doesn't mean that they are not good. In the pre-season ratings they ranked high, and they have lived up to that rating. At present they can boast of a school-leading record of 7-1, with a good chance of improving that on February 13, when Niles North invades our waters.
