Dimes Fight Birth Defects
The Maine West Brotherhood Society is sponsoring its annual collection to benefit the March of Dimes. All the money collected by the Brotherhood members will help further the research to prevent birth defects.

Brotherhood has sponsored a March of Dimes collection for the last five years. That first year, 1970, the members collected $500; but the total has progressively fallen to a total of only $85 last year.
This year Brotherhood hopes to donate $200 which would be collected from the faculty and staff of Maine West. A week ago the total was only $80. Many more donations are needed.

The drive started Thursday, February 21, and will end today. To help get more money for such a worthy cause, a small‑sized Tootsie Roll will be given to each donator to thank him or her for their generosity.
