Planning for Shows Begins in Spring
Aquiana, Maine West's swim club, has already started planning its spring show. The club tried to choose a title for the show which would not limit the creativity of their numbers. "Out of the Blue" was their final selection.
Committees for the show have been hard at work for some time. First numbers were practiced on land. Now they are being done in the water. Each number has a student choreographer. The show will be presented on April 25, 26, and 27.

Orchesis, Maine West's dance club, has also been practicing for their show, "Into Oblivion." Orchesis will present its show on May 3 and 4. Orchesis members choose their own dance groups, and then the entire group choreographs the number.
This year's show will have some added attractions. There will be a Negro spiritual, a ballet, and a mask number, all choreographed by Mrs. Susan Gelz, the sponsor. In the mask dance the entire club will wear masks created by Mr. George Blanas' Art IV students.
