Hard Work May Be for Naught
By KATHY COOPER
If there is one thing that really bothers people, it is to see a lot of hard work go down the drain. Well, a lot of hours go into the making of this newspaper, and it is really a shame to see that work wasted.
Often one can go into the cafeteria during and after the lunch periods and see shredded Westerners on the floor, tables, and in the garbage cans. Look in the hallways, and you will see them lying on the floors. It is really aggravating to see this, especially if the one who sees it happens to work on the paper.
What would it be like if our teachers read through our term papers and then ripped them up and threw them away? It wouldn't please too many of us who put a lot of work into that paper. If the teacher didn't want our papers in the first place, why did he bother to have us write them?
The same thing goes for this paper. If you don't want to read it, don't bother getting it. You are only wasting your money.
