Staff Needs Your Help
The school year is three quarters gone, and there is a lull in the creative juices that bring you the Westerner. Because of this lack of adrenaline, the Westerner is once again making a plea for the contribution of interesting class projects from teachers and students.

We know that someone out there is doing something, because of all the art projects and other such educational paraphernalia that we see all of our students carry around with them in the halls.

For instance, Mr. George Blana's Art III-IV classes have just finished a unit on intimate sculpture and are now on their way to a study of printmaking and painting.
Mr. Ronald Mills, Drama II's have just about finished a Greek play project, where individual groups of students gave their interpretations of the great Greek classics in the football stadium, to give them a feeling of performing in the ancient amphitheatres of Greece.

If you feel you are doing something of interest and value in your classes (even if it's just reading Wuthering Heights) drop us a note in R-210, where our able-bodied staff will be more than happy (and helpful) to serve you, during second, sixth, seventh, and eighth periods, or see Mr. George Walker, adviser. Help us with the Westerner.
