Did you know seniors Bob Roberts and Doug Merkel have qualified as National Merit finalists and will compete for Merit Scholarships to be awarded this spring? Bob and Doug share the honor with a highly select group of less than one-half of one percent of the nation's graduating seniors.
Did you know Mary Bergdolt, a junior Art III student, is this year's recipient of a $100 scholarship given by the Des Plaines Woman's Club? Linda Simpson, also a junior Art III student, received a $100 scholarship from the Des Plaines Junior Woman's Club. Both girls will go to Robert Allerton Park in Monticello, Illinois, this summer for one week to study art with University of Illinois art instructors.
