Springtime Brings Banquets
Speech Team and Thespian Society will be having a banquet on May 29 at 7 p.m. It will be held at Casa Royale in Des Plaines.
Maine West Swim Guard will be having a Pot‑Luck dinner at 7 p.m. on May 9. It will be held at Maine West. There will be volleyball and swimming for all who attend. The officers for next year will be announced.
Pom Pon clinics will begin Monday, May 5, through Friday, May 9, at 3:30 p.m. in A-wing gym. Tryouts will be Wednesday, May 7, and Friday, May 9. All girls are welcome.
Student Council is making plans for their annual banquet. It will be held at the Camelot on Friday, May 9, at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, April 26, the Distributive Education Club held a car wash in D‑wing parking lot. Donations received from the car wash were to help in financing a banquet in honor of the D.E. supervisors.

Brotherhood will be electing new officers which will be announced at the banquet.
G.R.A. will be having a banquet on Tuesday, May 20, in the Maine West cafeteria at 7 p.m. Awards for the team sports G.R.A., and Intramurals will be announced.
The Intramurals activities for fourth quarter are archery, golf, roller skating, and swimming.
The Maine West Twirling Corps and the Concert Combined Intermediate Cadet Band will participate in the Memorial Day parade on May 30. In the afternoon of May 30 there will be a Pet Parade. A volunteer clown band made up of members from the Concert Band will take part.
