Cheating - Is It Morally Wrong?
The subject of cheating was discussed in a recent article by Dr. Joyce Brothers. Students at over 1110 college campuses were asked questions about their attitudes towards cheating. "Do you feel cheating is morally wrong?" and "Do you think cheating in school leads to cheating on the job?" are two types of questions asked.

Before a person would be able to answer the above question wouldn't it be wise to decide exactly what would be classified as cheating. Sure, your teachers always say if you cheat on a test, you're only cheating yourself. What exactly does a teacher consider cheating? You could say to yourself how could one copied answer possibly hurt me.
Would it really be cheating as compared to a student whose test is an exact replica of the student's next to him?

Could cheating to gain a higher mark possibly compare to cheating on your income tax? In the long run cheating is cheating no matter how you look at it. Surveys show that students do have somewhat of a guilt complex after they have cheated on a test, but that sense of guilt will not stop a student from trying to raise his grade. Until students find something they really want to gain totally by themselves, cheating will continue to be a part of their lives.
