'Imaginary Invalid' Production Dates

The Imaginary Invalid is ready for its first production next Thursday, May 22. There will also be performances on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. Tickets are on sale from Thespian members and in the bookstore for $2.
For the past six weeks the backstage people have been working to make the show a success. Publicity chairwomen Carol Kent '75 and Lorrie Swanson '75 have posted signs in every imaginable place.
Eric Helgeland '76 is helped by Pat McLaughry '77, Greg Morava '77, and Mike Henson '76 with his job of lighting the stage. Sue Noftz '75 and Pat Moore are in charge of the rented costumes and wigs.
The construction crew is headed by Sandy Rose '78, who under the guidance of Mr. Bruce Nelson, is building not only scenery but authentic seventeenth‑century furniture from scratch. Donna Dewaele '75, Laura Seitz '78, Ann Laughlin '78, Andrea Marquette '78, Fran Kosac '777, Louise Seiben '78, Pam Damasky '78, and Renee Tribolet '78 make up the crew.
Mary Darling '77 chairs the make‑up crew consisting of Megan Peterson '77, Beth Melton '78, and Barb DePasquale '78. Sue Gibson '76 is chairwoman of properties crew. Her crew consists of Chris Prochenski '78, Janet Seitz '76, Patti Salmon '77, and Kathy Huffaker '78.
Mr. Darryl Schultz, director, called The Imaginary Invalid "an educational experience." He said, "It gives a lot of people the chance to experience a different kind of theatre."
