Gym Invitational To Be Held Here
The first National High School All‑Around Gymnastics Invitational will be held on June 21, 1975, in the Herman L. Rider Memorial Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m.

This meet will feature the 12 best high school all around gymnasts from across the nation. They are Rick Adams, Kentucky; Bart Conner, Illinois; Dan DeWitt, Colorado; Tom Haines, Ohio; Ron Galimore, Florida; Phil Gonzales, California; Breck Grigas, Illinois; Scott McBroom, Pennsylvania; Mario McGutcheon, New York; Kevin Muenz, Illinois; Neal Sher, Illinois; and Tiger Taylor from Florida. These 12 young men will all compete in the six Olympic events: floor exercise, pommel horse, still rings, vaulting, parallel bars, and horizontal bar.
The meet will represent the first time ever that high school gymnasts from all over the USA have come together to compete under the same roof. This meet has been in the making for approximately five years; and if it does go well and is a success this year, it will possibly become an annual event.

This meet will be televised on some of the major television networks which were contacted previously. Tickets for this outstanding meet can be purchased in the bookstore for only $3.
