S*M*A*S*H

Now on With the Show
There was darkness in the auditorium. Jim Tortorelli '75, lighting chairman, said, "Let there be light so that our V Show, S*M*A*S*H, will b e seen!" His job was to light the stage for each S*M*A*S*H act.
Jim was not alone in his task. He was helped by Gary Billey '75, Carrie Skora '78, John Lange '75, Jim Lowenherz '75, Eric Helgeland '76, and Greg Morava '77.
There was silence in the auditorium. Kathy Dueball '75, audio captain, came to the rescue with Barb DePasquale '78, Peri Meissner '78, Jim Meyer '78, Brad Travis '78, and Rich Lindberg '78.
The stage was in chaos, however. Bruce Costagli '75, stage manager, came to organize it with Laura Ballauer '75, Jerome Boryca '77, Barb Drelicharz '77, Donna DeWaele '75, George Gatsis '76, Linda Jensen '78, John Lange '75, Janet Tokuhisa '77, and Karen Kaiser '75.

So the stage was finally set for Maine West's V‑Show. Lorrie Swanson '75 and Bruce Costagli '75, co‑directors, wanted costumes for the cast. Mary Jo Zalebek '75, costume captain, helped them, and so did Lisa D'Argo '75 and Dianne Hawks '76.
Sandy Sadler '75, makeup captain, came in to make up the cast's faces. She and her assistants, Peggy Meister '75 and Karen Porter '75, were aided by Sue Meichert '76, Sharon Walsh '78, Linda Neuman '78, Mary Darling '77, Mary Beth Suda '76, Barb Suda '78, Mary Baumhart '78, Lisa Kraushaar '77, Karen Ecklund '78, Missy Nolan '76, Ann Sasso '78, Stacy Walgreen '78, Mary Fisher '76, and Nancy Idstein '77.
Everything was just about ready. Steve Schaefle '75, Steve Chamberlin '75, and Kathy Nickles '75, music chairmen, made sure there was music for the dance chorus. The band helped out.
Everything is now ready for the performance nights of November 13 at 4 p.m. and November 14-16 at 8 p.m. in the auditorium. Each of the acts is polished and ready to face the audience.
