Computers Benefit Everyone Concerned
Maine West has been complimented for its interest for students not only in class but also out of class. Clubs are formed, enabling students to expand their interests and become aware of the vast opportunities available to them.

The clubs continue to grow as the extra curricular activities minded students continue to seek new, interesting, and challenging clubs to join. Two teachers of Maine West are attempting to create what they believe to be worthwhile and beneficial clubs. The new clubs are Computer Science, sponsored by Mr. Stephen Herring, and Home Planning and Interior Design Club, sponsored by Ms. Barbara Brouse.
The Computer Science Club is designed for those who enjoy the challenge of a machine and the imagination and determination of mind over matter. There is no discrimination against sex; everyone is invited. The meetings are being held Thursdays at the end of B‑wing in the computer room.

If applying artistic qualities to one's surroundings and investing a little bit of extra time is a particular enjoyment, then Ms. Brouse's club is for you.

These sponsors are interested in the students' interests and expansion of ideas for the rainy day. But, these clubs can not become stable without the students.
