Student Council Works Hard
Student Council is selling, this year as last, wreaths, garland, holly bags, and decorator kits for Christmas. Wreath kits sell for $4.50; Western Cedar garland is $3.25 for a seven foot piece, six to eight berried sprays of holly for $1.25, and $2.75 for the decorator kits. If anyone is interested in supporting the Council and also making their home more festive for the holiday season, stop in at the Student Council office or see a representative. They'll be delivered between December 8‑20.

A meeting with Dr. Richard Short, the superintendent, is set for Tuesday, November 26. Problems of Student Council will be discussed. Any student with a question for Dr. Short should feel free to bring it to the Council office or give it to a representative.
This year, Student Council has a special award. Each month a hard working representative is honored. This month, congratulations go to Barb De Pasquale '78, the first recipient of this award. She will now have her name on a plaque that will be placed on the wall outside the office.

Here are a few coming attractions: the Winter Formal run by the social committee is set for Saturday, December 21; the organization committee along with Key Club is having a food drive to help Illinois Indians; and Dialtones and calendars will be sold in the bookstore for $.75 each throughout the year.
