This year's swimming team prospects were summed up by varsity and sophomore Coach Darrell Green. Coach Green remarked, "We are going to be better than last year, no doubt about that; but our record may not indicate that. The reason for that is that we have the toughest schedule in Maine West's history."

Returning senior lettermen for '74-'75 are Doug Benton, Glenn Berry, George Ericksen, Jon Helgeland, and Nick Mencinger.

Coach Green described the sophomore season. "The sophomores should be good since the prospects for a good sophomore season are good."

Freshman Coach Jim Borowski commented, "The freshman team does not have as many experienced swimmers as last year, but the outlook for the season does not look bad."

The swimmers will hold an intersquad meet today at 4 p.m., and the first meet of the season will be on November 27 at Proviso West.
