Ice Cream Happiness
Student Council sponsored an ice cream social for the faculty, presidents, and Student Council members on Tuesday, December 3, in the student cafeteria after school.

"The real purpose for this ice cream social is to have better communications between the students and the faculty," remarked Jeff Dennis '75, president of Student Council this year.

Council offered vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry flavored ice cream. This could then be topped off with nuts, whipped cream, and different flavored syrups. This was the first time Student Council ever had an ice cream social, and for the first time they had a very successful turnout.

Right now Student Council is working on the Christmas Formal that is coming up. It will be held on Saturday, December 21, from 8:30-11:30 p.m. in the auditorium. This year's theme is "Evening in Evergreen"; and the colors, dark green and gold, will accent it. The Social Committee of Student Council is planning and preparing everything for that evening. Kathy Steinken '75 is the chairman and Paulette Loch '76 is the co-chairman.
Under the Social Committee come the sub‑committees to which so many students are assigned. These committees are the Ticket Committee, Decorations, Refreshments, Christmas Court, and a committee for planning the music.

"Everyone on Social Committee is working their hardest, and we hope there is a big turnout," said Paulette Loch '76.

Christmas card delivery which is also sponsored by Student Council will run from December 9-20. From December 9-18 students can bring their cards into the Student Council office to be delivered.
