One of Maine West's newer clubs, Art Club, would like to thank all the people who made their Christmas card sale a success. A future project might include a mural although plans are not definite.
The Spanish, French and German Clubs enjoyed a fun Christmas party last December 19. Activities included food from different countries, Christmas carols, a puppet show, a pinata, and speeches from different parts of the world.
Ski Club has a day trip scheduled tomorrow. A weekend trip to Telemark Mountain in Cable, Wisconsin, is set for January 24, 25, and 26. It costs $48 and more people are still needed. The Ski Club board is working on a joint trip with Maine North. For more information on this see a sponsor in C‑111.
Orchesis will be entertaining us again during halftime at the basketball game on January 24. They will be dancing to the theme from Hawaii Five‑O.
Pep Club made enough money to help them through this year with their candy sales and would like to thank all the buyers. They are also selling buttons to evoke more spirit.
Key Club has, since the holidays, put over 400 new books in the Path. Some are taken from the questionnaire filled out last month in competition for the gumballs. They hope these new books will be of benefit to the students.
